A commissioned oil painting is a custom, original artwork that is made specifically for you.
Each piece is hand-painted and signed by Karah-Lyn. If desired, she can also have the artwork framed.
The turnaround time ranges around 4-8 weeks, depending on her current workload and the details of the requested artwork.
The size of the artwork is completely up to you. The commission sizes Karah-Lyn has done in the past are 12″x16″ and 16″x20″.
If you have an idea for a piece please contact Karah-Lyn to discuss your vision. This includes reference photos, inspirational works, colors, etc. While she is flattered to receive any request, however, she will only work on commissioned paintings that align with her vision and body of work.
Payment
A non-refundable 50% deposit is due before Karah-Lyn begins working on the artwork. The deposit holds that commission’s place in line to be started as soon as any previous ones are completed. After the piece is completed, Karah-Lyn will send photos to you for your ultimate approval. The remaining balance is due before the completed artwork is shipped.
Karah-Lyn usually works with PayPal, and credit cards accepted via PayPal. A PayPal account is not necessary to use your credit card.
